Stacy Cay

Virtual Event Host

Stacy Cay is a comedian, writer, model, and trans advocate from Kansas City. Stacy is a trans woman comedian and model raised in rural Arkansas. She’s performed at the New York Comedy Festival and SXSW, has opened for Josh Gondelman and Niles Abston, and produces the live, slumber party themed standup comedy sensation Spend the Night. Audiences describe her as “hilarious”, her senators say she’s "disgraceful”, and Tucker Carlson calls her "satanic.”

Jordan Carlos

Jordan is a stand up comedian and actor, who is currently co-starring and writing on the first season of Everything’s Trash (Freeform). He has also written for Divorce (HBO), written/performed for The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore (Comedy Central), and First Wives Club (BET). He also appears on the current season of Black Mirror, and the Home Alone reboot on Disney Plus.

Sammie James

Sammie is a disabled, gender queer, trans woman comedian, who is the host of The Waiting Room and The Badass Trans Women of Comedy.

Janeane Garofalo

Janeane has appeared in films such as "Wet Hot American Summer," "Ratatouille" and "Reality Bites." She was a cast member of the Emmy award winning "Ben Stiller Show," as well as the comedy classic "The Larry Sanders Show," and had recurring roles on "24" and "The West Wing."

In addition to acting in film and television, Janeane is an outspoken activist and tours the country as a stand-up comedian.

Negin Farad

Named one of 50 Funniest Women by Huffington Post, Negin was ranked as one of the 10 Best Feminist Comedians by Paper Magazine, and selected as a TEDFellow for her work in social justice comedy. She even gave a TEDTalk, because they slipped up and let a comedian on their vaunted stage!

Cindy Emch

Cindy sings out honky-tonk’s rollicking queer heart as the “First Lady of Queer Country.” Full of boot-stomping, heart breaking songs, her music is a raw, honest, and authentic listening experience not to be missed.

Elsa Waithe

Elsa Waitheis a comedian and activist who performs regularly in New York City and has toured across the south. They have appeared on This American Life, BET, and MTV, and have written for Narrative.ly. They are GOLD Comedy's founding instructor and a co-founder of the public awareness project Slavers of New York.

JONNY LOCO

Jonny Loco is a high energy, up-and-coming party DJ raised in New York City. Loco spins house music with tech vibes, tribal beats, and pop influences, with roots in the queer Brooklyn club scene.

KAY ULANDAY BARRETT

A PBS News Hour featured poet, Campus Pride Hot List artist, Trans Justice Funding Project Panelist, and Trans 100 Honoree, KAY ULANDAY BARRETT is a poet, performer, and educator, navigating life as a disabled pilipinx-amerikan transgender queer in the U.S. with struggle, resistance, and laughter. Kay has featured on colleges & stages globally; Princeton University, U Penn, UC Berkeley, Musee PourRire in Montreal, The Guild Literary Complex, and The Chicago Historical Society. Kay’s bold work continues to excite and challenge audiences. A seasoned speaker, Kay has offered workshops, presented keynotes, and contributed to panels with various social justice communities. Kay’s ideas have featured in Race Forward & Colorlines, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, KPFA Radio, and WBAI Radio. Kay turns art into action and is dedicated to remixing recipes. Andrea Abi-Karam

Andrea is a trans, arab-american punk poet-performer cyborg. They are the author of EXTRATRANSMISSION (Kelsey Street Press, 2019) and with Kay Gabriel, they co-edited We Want It All: An Anthology of Radical Trans Poetics (Nightboat Books, 2020). Their second book, Villainy (Nightboat Books, Sept 2021) reimagines militant collectivity in the wake of the Ghost Ship Fire and the Muslim Ban. They are a Leo obsessed with queer terror and convertibles.
